Managing Director Rajeev is the Mastermind who founded Nexus Communications and he is a veteran in the  mobile industry of Sri Lanka in which he boasts almost 20 years of experience. 

Rajeev’s career in the mobile industry began at Softlogic Communications, where he started as Dealer Sales Manager and was subsequently promoted to National Sales Manager, General Manager and to Director. During his tenure as National Sales Manager and General Manager/Director at Softlogic, Nokia held the highest market share for five consecutive years. Notably, when Microsoft acquired Nokia` Mobile, Microsoft Sri Lanka, under Rajeev’s leadership, Sri Lanka market was recognized globally for maintaining the best market share in a country.

With experience he gained in the telecommunications industry , Distribution and Channel Management, Rajeev joined the start-up Gnext in 2017. As CEO, he has played a pivotal role in the company’s success, driving its growth to its current prestigious position as the 2^nd largest mobile distributor in the country. His dedication to building strong networks across the region and cultivating partnerships with key players like Lava, HTC, Vivo, Apple, Xiaomi, Infinix, and Dyson has been instrumental in GNext’s rapid expansion. His tenacious leadership and astute business acumen have been key factors in the company remarkable achievements.

Now, in his new role at Nexus Communications as Founder and Managing Director, Rajeev is committed to driving growth by aligning brand goals with company objectives and market dynamics with backed by the team of professionals at Nexus.
